Engraved "Silver Jubilee of King George V, 1935. The gift of the Goldsmith's Company."
This was given to the members of the Court and Livery.
Designed by George Kruger Gray and W E Bennett.
George Kruger Gray (1880-1943) specialised in the design of coins and medals. His numismatic designs for the reverses of English silver coinage weere adopted in 1927, and again for the 1937 Coronation Crown, by the Royal Mint Advisory Commitee. In recognition of his services he was made a CBE in 1938.
