Sarah Jones Silver Ladle London 1993 Sarah Jones Length: 13cm £250 Sarah Jones read history of medieval art at the University of East Anglia before training as a silversmith with Michael Murray. Sarah became well known after exhibiting in 'Loot' which were a series of selling exhibitions at Goldsmiths' Hall between 1975 and 1981. She had a shop in Basinghall Street in the City which opened in 1980 and closed in 2000, and for a while another in the Piccadilly Arcade. In 1980 the City of London commissioned a standing cup from her to be presented to the Queen Mother on her 80th birthday. She is a Liveryman of the Goldsmiths' Company, a Freeman of the City of London and a member of the Art Workers Guild. Click image to enlarge

	Silver Hot Water Jug London 1947 J P Steele Height: 17.5cm £495 John Phillips Steele was an artist/craftsman working in Letchworth Garden City. 	Silver Candlestick London 1993 Designed by Julie Chamberlain For Garrard and Co Facsmile engraved signature Height: 17cm Weight: 16oz £495 Julie Chamberlain was born in 1958 and studied 3D Design and Silversmithing at Middlesex University before going to the Royal College of Art 1n 1981. She set up her own workshop in London in 1984 In 1993 Garrard and Co celebrated 150 years as the Crown Jewellers with and exhibition of their designers since 1925 and 17 contemporary silversmiths.
