Jocelyn was in partnership with Charles de Temple when she first started - she made gold jewellery that retailed in his Bond Street shop that specialised in avant garde jewellery

Charles de Temple was born in Mexico in 1929 and was brought up in Ringling Brothers Circus crossing America. He was a nightclub singer before becoming a jeweller in Massachusetts, then moving to London in 1957. He made commissions for Bond movies; the goldfinger that Honor Blackman wore in 1962 and a ring for On Her Majesty's Secret Service in 1969 that George Lazenby gave to Diana Rigg.

97/150 Four hallmarks – Shield with arms of Richard Fitzwilliam, seventh Viscount Fitzwilliam. The arms are lozengy, argent and gules. The motto beneath, Deo Juvante, is an abbreviated version of the full motto Deo adjuvante, nontimemdum.

 Each cup is made from sixteen separately formed pieces of silver and set with five 8 carat cabochon topaz

1975 was a notable year in the history of the Fitzwilliam Museum The new extension was completed and the first exhibition held there was opened by Her Majesty the Queen Mother in July. The exhibition was Cambridge Plate spanning seven centuries including examples from their own collection and pieces on loan. This cup was included demonstrating that the arts of designing and making fine silver still flourishes
