I provided the driftwood that I found on the beach in Herne Bay, which is where I was born. \u003cspan\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eShe first made an unusual example (1) which was fully hallmarked. She based her design on an early Eastern example that would have been shipped in a tea chest. I asked her to make a more traditional one (2) and this arrived unmarked as she didn't have time to send to assay before the exhibition. I never sent it back in a tea chest  to her for assaying.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAfter successfully completing her 1st class honours degree at  Edinburgh College of Art in 2008, Kirsty then went on to work in  Schoonhoven, Holland on the Silver in Motion Program for a year. She worked as an Artist in Residence at Edinburgh College of Art until August 2010 and has now moved into her own space at The Precious Metals Workshop in Edinburgh.
