In 1981 they set up a workshop in Hatton Garden together producing work for top retailers and then developed their own creations,\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eA tumbler cup was placed on a touch sensitive pad linked to a computer and the random rocking of the cup produced a series of arcs which were then translated into 3D form. Patrick Sierolawski, then a student at the RCA, grew the 3D form in resin using stereo lithography with ultra-violet lasers, this was then cast in silver.
