ANDREW BUCKINGHAM

ANDREW BUCKINGHAM wanted to be a silversmith from the ageof 10 after seeing the work of Stuart Devlin. In 1980 he went to the Sir John Cass School at Whitechapel on the pre apprenticeship course, followed by an apprenticeship with Sarah Jones in Clerkenwell. In 1989, he left Sarah and moved to a quiet North Lincolnshire village to open his own workshop.

One move later, he now works from home.

In 2013 his daughter was indentured as his own apprentice at Goldsmiths Hall. Known for his attention to detail, his work is owned by members of the royal family and various celebrities.
