| 4 Silver Caddy Spoons commissioned by STYLES SILVER of HUNGERFORD especially for their current exhibition:
DON PORRITT - silver: light, texture and form
'There are two types of hammer texture finish to the anticlastic handles - one on the concave upper form and the other applied to both edges as a contrast to the plain concave section. The spoons echo the strong flowing lines of my jug designs and a well struck hallmark is sited on the underside of the handle as a distinctive part of the overall design.' |
