History of Styles Silver
History of Styles Silver - 50 Years in Hungerford
STYLES SILVER is a family run business established in Hungerford, Berkshire in 1974 by Patsy Styles. Her husband Derek joined 3 years later followed by their son George in 2001. Originally, they only sold Antique and Secondhand Silver but have gradually moved forward and now have an extensive range of silver from all periods, including Post War and Contemporary Designer Silversmiths and probably have the largest stock of Silver Game Birds and Animals in the country. They also offer a wide range of gifts for weddings, birthdays and christenings.
GEORGE STYLES was made a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths in 2012 and has expanded the business and now arranges Commission work, Presentation pieces and Trophies with a full engraving service.
DEREK STYLES co-wrote 'British Designer Silver' with John Andrew, the standard work on Post War silver, published by ACC Art Books in 2014.
STYLES SILVER do not exhibit at Antique Fairs but are members of LAPADA (London & Provincial Antique Dealers Association).
