Designed and hand made by Charles Hall - Commissioned by Sir Colin Southgate to mark the demerger of Thorn from the EMI group. Charles Hall studied at Hornsey College of Art 1963-5 and the RCA 1965-8 before  establishing his studio and workshop in Cornwall in 1972. A founding member of Contemporary British Silversmiths, he has undertaken many important commissions.
