It is then hand enamelled by highly skilled painters, creating overlapping colours which are then repeatedly glazed and baked at high temperature to create both a visually stunning and hard-wearing surface. Then finally the lacquering process, which will prevent it becoming tarnished over time and removes the need for cleaning. It is then Fully Hallmarked at the Sheffield Assay Office, guaranteeing the quality and fineness of this sterling silver piece.
